Our Mission is to Unite Brevard County in Prayer

HISTORY:
In the summer of 2020, I read an article about a prayer event that happened in Brasil.  As many people of faith were locked out of the church buildings as a result of Covid-19 restrictions, people took to the streets to pray and comfort one another.  A group of believers in San Diego, CA read this same article and knew the Lord was calling them to do the same thing in their city which birthed, We Pray San Diego.  Close to 15,000 people lined the streets, highways, bridges and alleys to pray for a guided 1-hour of prayer over their city, people, health workers, first responders, and the uprising of cultural unrest.

A passion and mission grew in my heart and soul as I knew the Holy Spirit was prompting a prayer gathering here in Brevard County, FL.  In just weeks, a grass roots event began to grow and flourish right here in our county as many believers, Pastors and ministry leaders joined in to support what became known as We Pray Brevard.  God brought together hundreds of prayer warriors from Titusville to Grant, some gathered at designated prayer locations, others on streets, neighborhoods, in homes and some even prayed while traveling.

What I thought would be a one-time prayer day, has now become an ongoing mission to continue to unite Brevard County in prayer as God has continued to grow We Pray Brevard and expand the vision.
